This is a shot of my mate Hiro. He is crazy about surfing his family and his mates. Great guy. I like this shot as it shows him lost in the search of a wave. I played with the colours to give it a more dreamy look and to increase the mood. Do you like it? If so I'd be happy to hear. Cheers Daz

Me like. Firstly the compostion....Talk about placing your friends on a pedestal! he looks imperious! imperious yet benign. Really wonderful stuff Darren. I like how the posture reflects the angular nature of the location. Secondly the processing gives this a nostalgic vibe which I think serves this very well, as above all else its a memory of someone close to you, and a time Im sure you'd like to remember.

I like the processing. The vignetting on the side leaves a halo of light around your friend at the top of the humongous tidebreakers. And yet the tone is gentle, not harsh.
