Work Series 2 of 3

Well this is number 2 of the series and a little dark but there is a reason for this image being dark and thats the feeling you get when you hear about the stories of workers taking the easy way out. Yellow line is where you should stay behin d.
Enjoyed all your work series shot yesterday but didn't get home till after midnight so sorry for not commenting.

Not sure that jumping is exactly the 'easy' way out...but the emotion that this portrays is pretty grim. I love the 'ghost' and the low colour intensity, very gritty.

The dreaded yellow line. Heard a few stories myself...(even saw one once in Kyoto). Kind of find this ghostly too...but a really good image.

very disturbing image Darren and one which certainly strikes a chord. I live on one of the local suicide lines -for those unfamiliar with Japan, suicide by train is the most 'popular' way out. The ghostly object lends this real bite. great work.

This is really good Daz. That was my first thought at seeing the image. After reading your commentary, I reckon it's even better. Love the darkness. Very moody, and totally different from your recent work. Superb shot and take on the theme.

You've succeeded in proveying the ominous and dark feeling very well here Daz. As Duncan points out the ghostly subject on the right only heightens this sense. Very nice work and interpretation.

Excellent perspective, color, and composition with the ghost. Very striking and powerful image. It's something quite scary that happens here often to. Switzerland is right behind Japan for suicides.
