Niijima 05

This is one I captured of the Niijima Gods. I can't remember there story but I believe they are here to bring good luck to the fisherman and the surfers who enter the sea.
The kind of luck I need so I checked these 2 out before jumping into the water. Niijima is Japan but it has an interesting culture that is quite different ot that of the mainland.

What do you think of this one? PP not too much I hope.

I'd love to tell you more about them but don't know the details.
All I can remember is that they people of this island made these monuments to look after the people who venture into the sea.

Love the way it turned out Daz. Not too much PP at all I reckon. It's interesting how different the cultures are on some of the Japanese islands. I'm off to Okinawa next month to find out for myself.
