Jerry - a moment in time [...] from Chicago, United StatesI like the perspective. Great work Darren. Looks cool in b/w. where did you take it? 22 Jan 2007 5:52am @Jerry - a moment in time [...]: Thanks Jerry. @Daniel: Thanks Daniel. Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanBrilliant stuff. and nice to catch up after my wee hiatus Darren. wonderfully imposing image. Love the fuji stuff btw! I even like how the 2 'previous' thumbnails in the top left form to give us an interesting little collage! 22 Jan 2007 11:54am @Duncan Galbraith: Welcome back Duncan. Stu from Kyoto, JapanWonderful shot Daz. Not easy to compose i guess, but this is a fine, no, excellent take. 22 Jan 2007 1:03pm @Stu: Thanks Stu. Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanGreat work mate...I love to take pictures of them but riding them is overated. I think you're right it was the tallest in the world at one stage but now I think the one in Englands heart is the biggest in the world. But that's just a guess....I'm sure I'm totally wrong. 22 Jan 2007 1:41pm @Colour blind: Depends on who you ride the ferris wheel with mate. Iqsr from Paris, Francevery nice pic, the "color", the contrast, the angle 22 Jan 2007 2:03pm @Iqsr: Thanks Iqsr. Angry Buddha from United StatesI can see why it's your screen saver. Great shot Darren! It's the perfect angle and great detail. B&W was definitely the way to go on this. 22 Jan 2007 2:40pm @Angry Buddha: Thanks mate. I do have a colour version which I also like but do prefer this B&W one. @Craiger: Thanks mate. @Jimpur: Thanks Jimpur. @badala: Thanks Badala. Yanle from Singapore, Singapore!!! Wow that's really tall. Ocean Park (Hong Kong) has one short ferris wheel. I took a few shots of it but none of it as magnificant as yours. 22 Jan 2007 4:06pm @Yanle: Yeah mate. It is pretty tall. When I was riding on it once it actually stopped when I was at the top for around 15 minutes due to heavy winds. At the time I didn't know if I was lucky or not. @Craig Persel: Thanks Craig Shawna from Regina, CanadaI like that you took this (or converted it) in b&w. I would have never thaought of doing that. It works really well. I can see why you like it it has a lot of strong composition components 22 Jan 2007 5:44pm @Shawna: Thanks Shawna. @Maoya: Yeah mate, sure is humungus. @Ahraht: Thanks mate. @Still: Thanks mate. Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaGreat shot mate, the framing and perspective are excellent! 22 Jan 2007 9:36pm @Chris Sullivan: Thanks Chris. @Errances: Thanks Errances Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesI can see why this is a favorite.
