Okinawa 06

Nearly finished the series.
These are the ruins of an old castle in Okinawa. I was really lucky to get this image with no people in it withg all the tours visiting here. I know people in images gives them some human feeling but I wanted to focus on the structure of what remained from this castle which has almost completely died.

It works really well not having any people in it; as you say the focus is entirely on he structure - looks as if it would be at home in the British countryside. As always nicely taken mate.

Not an easy structure to photograph effectively I imagine but I reckon you chose the right spot to do it justice Daz. Nicely done. I much prefer it with no people too.

If I hadn't read the caption I would of thought you stubbled accross a forgotten deserted castle. It is hard to show the history of a monument when people are swarming around it. Like the dull sky adds to the mood
