Thanks yesterday for your comments. I have taken your comments and gave a quick fix in Photoshop to get rid of the microphone. What I did was I used the clone tool from various positions around the microphone to gradually delete it then I selected the area to the right of the performer and then applied a Gaussian blur to make it blend more naturally. Total work time around 5-10minutes max. With a little more time I may have been able to do a better job but need to get some sleep. Hope you like the changes. I have a before and after for you to compare, let me know what you think. Cheers Daz PS. Like my Blog? Vote for it on VFXY if you have some time. Thanks.

Darren, As per our Indian mythology, flute is kind of symbolic to Lord Krishna, the character you have chosen to photograph and the expressions you have captured are so intense and top of it the black and white colors sort of give it a heavenly effect. As if Lord Krishna is playing flute. I simply adore this portrait. Shall be eager to see more of your photos.

@sharpeye: Thanks Sharpeye. He was pretty into playing those pipes and the concentration on his face was pretty intense. I look forward to seeing you here again.
Wow! Great job! And in only 5-10 mins?!

@Angry Buddha: Thanks mate. A few more images over the next few days that I have played around in photoshop with.
Impressive, I wouldn't even do it in about 3-4 hours, might need to learn some technics in photoshop...

@MnX: The first time I tried to use photoshop it would've taken me about 3-4hrs too mate but after I learned the basics like what I have done in this photo it's pretty easy. I still need a lot of practice though.
Nice job zapping that mike! I truly believe that sometimes doing things like this can only enhance an image and more accurately convey the feeling you experience when you originally saw him (the mind is as good an editor as Photoshop!).

@Damon Schreiber: Who's Mike? Yeah photoshop is pretty good, it lets us delete unwanted objects and lets us enhance the moment.
Looks like you're getting better and better at PS CS2 huh?? I've been reading up about it too over here in Oz and when i get the new computer you'll have to show me some tricks.
I'm loving the direction you're going with your pics mate...the B&W is a good addition to your repetoir. I'll be checking your site at least once a week so keep up the good work.
I hope it isn't so cold in Tokyo right now...I'd be freezing if I was there since at the moment I'm in the middle of the mall with shorts, thongs and no shirt!! Haha.

The clone stamp tool can save your life, or it can make it horrible so getting something that big out of a picture and making it look real is hard work sometimes. Excellent job of removing the mic. I gotta get back to practicing my CS2 stuff :)
