Building Art Experiment 01

I thought I'd kill some time on the computer and see what I could do with photoshop. So I took this pretty ordinary picture of a building and some sky, I actually didn't mind it but thought it'd be fun to play with in photoshop. Anyway I split it into 4 layers, 2 for the building and 2 for the cloudy sky. Played around with the hues and colours od each and also the levels. I also added some motion blur to the clouds to give them some scary power and flattend the image to get this. Total time spent was under 30 minutes because I'm really hungry and want to eat and watch a movie now. Enjoy and hope you like it.

you really know what you're doing with photoshop don't you daz. this is just great. perfect composition and symmetry here, and the cloud effect is really interesting. the diffuseness of the sky juxtaposes perfectly with the sharp angles and lines of the building. great tones too.
great take.

that's a pretty intense picture. You overworked the pp a bit, but tone it down and you've got a lot of potential. keep it up.

Looks like one of those time-remap scenes you see in movies. Nice work Daz it does have a surreal edge to it!

Stunning image with a simple composition. I'd say if the sky looked a bit more realistic, It would have more impact; as it is, I feel it looks a bit like the sky in a computer game.

@Damon Schreiber: Very simple I thought too. I'll give it a go and see how it looks with a sky from one of my other photo's. Does look a little like something from a computer game, then again I did prosess this quite a bit to give it a unrealistic feel.
