Metro Building

This is the Tokyo Metropolitan Govenment Building in Shinjuku Tokyo. I had a nice cold beer on the 43rd floor of this waiting for a chance to take a photo of Mt Fuji but only got to enjoy the beer and the view of the city below, a big cloud was blocking my view of Mt Fuji (@_@)
So after the disappointment of not being able to see Mt Fuji I headed down stairs and decided to get a few image from down below and this is what I ended up with in the end.
Well love reading all your comments keeps me motivated and out there taking more pictures so let me know what you think.

great pic daz. you've managed to capture the details of the buildings, even where the lights are off, and there's a good sense of scale too. The soft clouds are wonderful.
shame about fuji-san mate but keep trying! would love to see your take on it.

@Stu: Thanks Stu. I'm really happy with this shot. Yeah I really want to get some shots of Mt Fuji with my new camera. Maybe take a trip this winter vacation Mt Fuji and a hotspring.

Spot on. Great take, the top part of the building structure looks like it could have been modelled in 3DMax or Maya. Too bad about the cloud, this shot is great though!

Beautiful architecture! I would love to see your Mount Fuji picture one day, but this one tops the charts as well! I like the perspective and how the buildings are not centered in your shot. Also I like it that some of the lights in the building are off and on. Maybe someone's still working... maybe someone's has left for home... :)

Yeah this is pretty good. I can see how much time you put into it. But you shouldn't have built it up at work!! It's still a good photo mate!! Shame about Fuji!

Not bad, the bottom part seems a bit overexposed though. This photo reminds me of one of those strongholds that the heroes of a movie bust into. hahaha
