When I saw this I saw a photo opportunity. The tree and building are almost the same shape. The building in the background is the Docomo Building the head office for a Mobile phone company that explains the big antenna on the top. Anyway enjoy and I look forward to your comments and your photos.

@badala: Thanks Badala
Good shot, Darren-san. I like the thing which a tree gives us.

@Makoto T: Thanks for you comment Makoto
Nice Daz. I like the symmetry/comparison of the tree and building. Really nice perspective. Sharp too!
Oh...and I like that you can't see the womens' faces too! Adds more mystery and as Damon said - a more contemplative feeling to the picture. The red leaves were a nice touch too.

@Stu: Thanks Stu.
Nice shot, grabbing opportunitys is always good :)

@Gnarf: Exactly, it's all about opportunities. Thanks Gnarf
wow, beautiful :)

@Ayumi K.: Good to see you again AyumiK
I like the composition: how the tree on the left is competing with the building on the right. You give them some arrogant-like personality. Great colors, the red tree in the back makes this picture not-bland.

@Ben: Thanks Ben. I like to compare things
I really like this shot for the similarities and the differences, the contrast between man (the building) and nature.

@Craiger: Thanks Craiger. It's amazing how we can imitate nature at times.
I wish the sky was not white washed.

@Shuva: Thanks for the comment. I've reposted a modified version for tomorrow.
Building won :) Building is taller.

@Suby: Yeah it is, but I think the tree is older.
Good catch. The resemblance is very cool and I love the colors.

@Angry Buddha: Thanks Angry Buddha. More colour in tomorrows so please come back and let me know what you think.
Lovely picture. I imagined something different when you were telling me about it yesterday but far out you've blown my expectations out of the water. You know what would be really cool is if you HDR'd some sky into the picture. That would mess with peoples heads a little!!

@Colour blind: Well mate have decided to mess with some peoples heads and made some picture adjustment. Check this photo tomorrow and let me know what you think. Daz
cool shot Darren. the trees have it for now...but give it a week and those reds and yellows are gonna be long gone. Nicely timed take.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks Duncan. Yeah they will be gone and they will be missed. I just hope winter passes quickly so we can enjoy the new fresh spring colours.
Yeah! It's a really good shot. Due to the local laws we don't have buildings like this in Kyoto...apart from the (ugh!) tower!

@Shadow Mountains: You don't need buildings like this when you have all those beautiful temples and shrines to shoot.
I like the way the shot is composed. The shapes feel really balanced when I look at it.

@Ryan Yam: Thanks Ryan.
I think there is a big nest in the tree. Nice correspondance in this two towers...

@Still: Yeah it does look like there's a birds nest hey. Thanks for visiting my site.
i like the symmetry and composition.

@Mariaela: Thanks Mariaela. Your Tunnel Vision shot was cool.
Nice and warm color. It seems the winter there is not that cold
